I am pleased to offer you the following software for free. These are applications that I built myself and that I think might be of use to others. Please feel free to download and use them, and drop me a line if you like it.
None of the programs below contain spyware, automatic updates, register nag-screens, or any other kind of contraption to make your life harder and your work slower. If you find something wrong with them, please let me know through marco at makoho dot nl.
MakeAnimatedGIF V0.3.1

MakeAnimatedGIF is a simple Windows application that allows you to make an animation out of still images. You can set the delay and the number of loops, organize the list of images, import entire folders, and preview each image. You can also view the EXIF information of each image, if it is available.Options include delay, repeat, resizing options, alignment, resizing methods and background colour. Options are saved.Currently JPEG, PNG and GIF images are supported as input. It allows drag and drop of files and folders onto the list of input images, as well as sorting on filename, size and date. The user can also move and remove images within/from the list.
SimpleJoiner V2.0

SimpleJoiner is a small Windows application that makes it easy to join the parts of split files. Joining .001, .002, .003 files can be done with a few other programs (notably HJSplit, but it’s awful), but never as easy as with SimpleJoiner. Simply associate the program with .001 files, double-click, and the program starts running. Or, if you want, you can have SimpleJoiner associate itself with .01, .001 and .0001 files during installation.It will know which files to join, and it will try to determine the source file’s name and extension (and use .unknown if it can’t). Options include automatic joining and closing if the program is started with a filename as argument, deleting the original files, and opening the joined file after a successful join.
TextRoom V1.1
Textroom is a text writing application that takes away all distractions of text layout. It is a full-screen application that displays the text you are writing, and nothing else.Options include fully customizable font and colours, a rudimentary English spell-checker, tab-width, and text-area width. It supports opening text files, it can display in both full-screen and normal window size. The menu is available in English and Dutch.The program can print your text and save it as a text file. In future releases PDF support will be added.
