Watchmen and running

Yesterday evening I went to see the movie Watchmen with Carlijn. I liked the movie a lot; I liked its theme, its darkness, and its sacrificial plot. Carlijn didn’t like it that much; the difference between Dr. Manhattan and the rest bothered her. Afterwards we had some drinks at Leopold, outside on the terrace for the first time this year, and we were home at about 1am.
This morning we went running together. At first we thought we’d run through the Haagse Bosjes, but Carlijn came up with the idea to run to Scheveningen instead. So we did, all 7 kilometers of it. We did it in about 40 minutes, which pleases me a lot as I have never ran this far or this long before. Gives hope to my endeavour to run the 10,5 km on April 13th in the 3 Molen Loop in Aarlanderveen, and the 10 km in the Leidse Marathon on May 17th.
