Vlietlanden in the sun

I’ve visited the Vlietlanden recreational area today with my camera and tripod. I wanted to make some shots while the sun was out.

There weren’t too many colours around to work with, though. In fact, apart from some yellow dandelions everything was green. Very green. So I got to work with dandelions for a change, and some bark from cut-down trees.

Here’s the picture I like best, featuring a sunny dandelion:

It was difficult getting so close to the ground and still seeing what I was doing: the field in the background is also used as a playground for dogs. You may image my hesitation to get down on the ground. But I did, and got this shot as a reward.

I particularly like the small yellow flower on the right side of this picture.

These are the other top pictures I made today. Of about 75 pictures, these 5 were worth mentioning. Not a bad score at all!
