Visual Display of Quantitative Information

April 14th, 2008

I’ve just purchased a second-hand book by Edward R. Tufte from the Kringloop Centrum Zeist, called The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, and I am soooo looking forward to reading it! I came across a reference to this book on www.xkcd.com and looked around for a copy, but a new copy is about € 45, and the cheapest second-hand on amazon was £ 25. So I was very glad to find a second-hand copy on www.tweedehands-boeken.nl for only € 15! As I work in Utrecht I could easily pick it up in Zeist, after work. And as the sun is shining, I’ll be on my balcony enjoying the artwork and theory of graphical design of statistics :)
