I grew tired of the paintings in my apartment (see my post Nude art) and I decided today to return them to the Kunstuitleen in Leiden. I took one painting back with me that is now hanging on the purple wall. I like it!

Last weekend I made some pictures from the Kniplaan, which splits De Vlietlanden into two separate lakes; a small lake with a hut for bird-watchers, and a large lake that I like to circle sometimes. This time I went there to both make an animation and some still-photography.

I have made a Windows application to create an animated GIF from still images (in Jpeg and GIF format), as the available applications either do not work on Vista and Windows XP SP3, or have watermarks or other inhibitions placed on them until you buy. My free program is available from this page.
